Artur Pietrzak
IT engineer and developer
Web developer with over a year of experience in software engineering, graduate of Łódź University of Technology with the title of IT Engineer. My core stack consits of React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, SCSS, MySQL and Prisma. Additionally, during my studies and while creating personal projects I learned other technologies, such as C#, .NET, Java, Spring and React Native.
As of recentely, I have also been gaining knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, focusing on the domain of natural language processing. I gained experience in Python, PyTorch and Pandas by developing a customer service chatbot based on a Large Language Model called Llama 2.
Experience
- Helped maintain an established, long-term corporate banking project.
- Assisted the team with developing new features using Angular and an internal design system.
- Developed a desktop and mobile interface for submitting and managing customer service requests.
- Assisted in building a customer support chatbot based on Large Language Models (Llama 2 and Mistral).
- Helped create classification models for categorizing user messages using Python and PyTorch.
- Worked with AWS SageMaker to perform model fine-tuning in a cloud environment.
- Developed a ReactJS hook for saving, retrieving, and validating data stored in local storage, improving user xperience by persisting form information, even after the website was closed.
- Helped the US-based client with gathering and clarifying requirements for a healthcare project.
- Refactored the project to implement accessible and semantic HTML and CSS to comply with WCAG 2.1.
- Implemented unit tests with Jest framework.
- Assisted the engineering team in maintaining and developing a web catalog project.
- Ensured code clarity, consistency, and correctness by regularly performing code review of pull requests created by other team members.
